It doesn't make $ense

I am no economist or financial whiz, but I cannot see the logic in closing the Keith hospital to save $300,000 a year.  I don't know how many people are employed there, but nurses and doctors are a specialised area, so close down the hospital and at least 50% (maybe more) of those employed will have to leave town.  The rest will either go on the dole, revert to one income households, or the lucky ones will find other employment.  So, if less people are employed there is less disposable income, therefore most businesses will suffer and some might even close.  Some people will not be able to keep up their mortgages, so will have to leave town.  Then what happens to the empty houses, empty closed shops and even the empty hospital?  They will be left to deteriorate because the town is dying and nobody wants them.  Like I said, I am not an economist, but how is putting more people on the dole, closing down businesses that have been paying taxes etc, and letting a town die, cost cutting?
What is even more confusing is that this hospital is situated in a town where the two of the most notorious roads in SA meet.  Is this another example of Labour "moving forward"?

Just give me a straight answer

I have been checking out more work from home sites, but I still can't get a straight answer to "what is involved, what do I have to do"????  I have even spoken to a nice young man over the phone who assured me there was no selling involved, no cold calling, don't need to be a techno computer whiz etc etc, but still wouldn't tell me WHAT WOULD I HAVE TO DO.  He just kept repeating "watch the video on our web site, pay your money and get our training cd's".
So, I can only conclude that the only way to make money from home is to have your own web site that sells How to Make Money at Home cd's!!!!
If there is any person out there who started working from home through one of these websites, I would like to know how is it going and  WHAT DO YOU ACTUALLY DO?

OMG she's back

Should have known it was too good to be true.  Poor little Kimmie could not stay out of the limelight.  This "girl" has some serious problems, which her parents must take considerable responsibility for.  If you had acted like parents, taught your daughter acceptable behaviour, and maybe even said no to her from time to time, you may have raised a daughter to be proud of.  For example, which parent  accompanied the then 16 year old to Sydney?  Which parent or responsible adult accompanied her when she stayed in a city hotel?  By her actions, your daughter has shown no respect or consideration to you, which makes me think that you have never asked for any.  Why?  You are her parents!  She should love and respect you and care about your feelings.  Like this blog, all her texts, twitters, media comments etc will be "out there" for all time.  She claims to have no regrets.  Maybe now, but what about the future?
